After gaining an MSc in Mathematics, Michael embarked on a career spanning 40 years in manufacturing and commerce. His experience includes management, international trading, manufacturing, marketing, operational research and international dispute resolution.
He has operated effectively and successfully as a consultant, manager, managing director and chairman in a variety of environments. He was Managing Director of a business with operations in North & South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Michael has been a member of the main boards of the Man Group plc, the London International Financial Futures Exchange, several Trade Associations and the Regulatory Decisions Committee of the Financial Services Authority.
